Lindfield's station precinct is one of the four centres named in Ku-ring-gai's 2025 Transport Oriented Development rezoning, allowing towers of six to twenty-four storeys within easy walking distance of the platform. For us that's meant a steady run of pre-sale renovation work and knockdown-rebuild jobs close to the village, on top of the usual Federation-era switchboard replacements further out.
Away from the station, Lindfield is much like the rest of the Ku-ring-gai heritage belt: large blocks, original wiring in a lot of the older homes, and the same storm exposure that hit this part of the North Shore hard in November 2019.
