What the Hills District covers
The Hills District runs from Baulkham Hills and Winston Hills in the south, north through Castle Hill, Kellyville and Rouse Hill, and out to the acreage belt around Dural, Kenthurst, Annangrove and Glenorie. We also work the adjoining Hornsby Shire suburbs — Cherrybrook, Pennant Hills, Thornleigh and Wahroonga.
It is not one kind of housing stock, and that matters. A 1970s Baulkham Hills brick veneer, a 2018 Rouse Hill build and a 5-acre Kenthurst property fail in completely different ways, and need different work.
The four parts of the Hills, and what we see in each
Established Hills Shire
Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Winston Hills, Northmead. 1960s–80s stock: original switchboards, ceramic fuses, no RCDs, and lighting circuits that were never designed for downlights.
Northwest growth corridor
Rouse Hill, The Ponds, Box Hill, Kellyville Ridge, Beaumont Hills. Newer builds, but often too few circuits for modern load — induction, ducted air, two EVs and a pool all on a board that was specified to the minimum.
The acreage belt
Dural, Kenthurst, Annangrove, Glenorie, Arcadia. Long cable runs, voltage drop, outbuildings, pumps, three phase, and far more exposure to surges and outages than a suburban block.
Hornsby Shire edge
Cherrybrook, Pennant Hills, Thornleigh, Wahroonga. 1990s downlight installs with insulation clearance problems, and federation homes still carrying rubber-insulated wiring.

Do you charge extra to travel to acreage properties?
No travel surcharge inside the Hills District. For properties well outside it we'll tell you upfront before booking, not on the invoice.
How quickly can you get out?
It depends on the week and whether it's urgent. Call and we'll give you a straight answer rather than promise a slot we can't make.
Do you work on acreage and rural properties?
Yes, and it's a genuine specialty. Long submains, shed and studio power, voltage drop, pump circuits, three phase and generator changeover switches are routine work for us.
Do you cover Hornsby and Cherrybrook?
Yes. Hornsby Shire suburbs on the Hills side — Cherrybrook, Pennant Hills, Thornleigh, Wahroonga and Hornsby itself — are all within our normal patch.
